VANCOUVER, BC – TransLink is celebrating Lunar New Year by joining the 52nd annual Vancouver Chinatown Spring Festival Parade on Sunday, Feb. 22, with a specially decorated bus.

TransLink's vibrant Lunar New Year bus marks the arrival of the Year of the Fire Horse. The design features six powerful fire horses in full stride, with sweeping manes and bold flames that reflect strength, energy, and forward momentum. The horses reflect the spirit of progress and connection that carries our communities into the new year with confidence and optimism.

“Lunar New Year is celebrated across many cultures, and it’s a time for renewal, reflection, and coming together,” says TransLink CEO Kevin Quinn. “The Chinatown Spring Festival Parade is a chance to celebrate that spirit, and we love to support the journeys people make to be there with family, friends, and community.”

Due to street closures related to the parade, some bus service in Vancouver will be affected on Sunday, Feb. 22. Customers should plan for extra travel time.
